1. Annual influenza vaccination be administered to all children aged 5 to 18 years, beginning this upcoming flu season as available, with full implementation by the 2009-2010 season.
2. Annual vaccination of all children aged 6 months through 4 years should continue to be the primary focus.
3. Inactivated influenza vaccine or live, attenuated influenza vaccine be used when vaccinating healthy persons aged 2 through 49 years (previous recommendation was to administer person 5 to 49 years).
